Meet your doctor

A surgeon's precision and the patience to listen.

Many people with ENT problems have lived with them for years. They have tried several nasal sprays, finished several courses of antibiotics and still have no clear answer. Dr. Ronok starts by hearing your whole story. He then examines you with an endoscope and shows you what he sees on the screen.

Most patients get better with medicine and simple in-clinic care. When surgery is the right choice, he explains every option, including what recovery really involves, so you can decide without pressure.

When should you see an ENT specialist?

These signs usually need a specialist examination, not another round of over-the-counter medicine.

Hearing that has slowly faded You turn up the TV, ask people to repeat themselves or struggle to follow talk in noisy places.
Ringing or buzzing in the ears Tinnitus that lasts more than a few weeks, especially if it is only in one ear.
A blocked nose for over 12 weeks Facial pressure, loss of smell or thick mucus that keeps returning after medicine.
Hoarseness lasting three weeks A voice change that has not settled needs the vocal cords examined, especially in smokers.
Repeated sore throats Several bouts of tonsillitis a year that cost you or your child days of school or work.
Food that sticks when you swallow Pain, coughing or a feeling of a lump in the throat while eating or drinking.
Sudden hearing loss in one ear is an emergency If hearing drops suddenly in one ear, often noticed on waking, call the clinic the same day. Treatment works best when it starts within the first 72 hours. Heavy bleeding from the nose that will not stop, or difficulty breathing, needs the nearest emergency department.

Before your visit

Questions patients often ask.

Do I need a referral to see Dr. Ronok?

No. You can book directly. If another doctor has already seen you, bring their notes, any prescriptions and recent test results such as CT scans or hearing reports.

Is the nasal endoscopy painful?

Most patients feel only mild pressure. A numbing spray is used first, and the thin camera is inside the nose for about a minute. You can watch the screen and see your sinus openings for yourself.

Can children be seen at the clinic?

Yes. Ear infections, glue ear, enlarged adenoids and recurrent tonsillitis are common in children. A parent stays with the child for the whole exam, and we keep it calm and quick.

Will I definitely need surgery?

Usually not. Most ENT problems get better with the right medicine, correct use of nasal sprays or a simple in-clinic procedure. Surgery is recommended only when it clearly gives you a better result. You always get time to think it over.

How do I reschedule or cancel?

Reply to your SMS confirmation, use the Patient Portal or call the clinic. Please give at least four hours' notice so we can offer the slot to another patient.
